I write every day, at least in my journal. I’m on journal #45.

That’s a lot of stories and…most of them are true.

I have also written theater criticism for the Los Angeles Times (under the byline M. E. Warren), a couple of novels (as yet unpublished), several plays for children, half of a solo comedy show and a raft of poems, many frivolous, all genuine.

My middle-grade fantasy novel, CIRCLE IN THE MIST, follows 12 year-old Ria into Under, the World of Dreams, in a rescue that pits her against her own worst nightmares.

MY IMAGINARY MAN is an adult, literary novel about a woman who must reinvent her sexual fantasies in order to find love.
